Germany U19 - Denmark U19 3:5 (0:1, 2:2, 1:2)

After the thrilling duel the day before, this one was really an interesting match again. From the very beginning on, you could really see that both teams struggled with their power because of the the first match - everything seemed to be less concentrated and weaker this day. In a quite balanced first half, Germany's good defense made a mistake in the 12th minute - no problem for Denmark to score the first goal of the match. In second half, Denmark took a power play opportunity and raised the lead to two, but Germany could get in touch again just some fourty seconds later. Denmark scored in the 13th minute again, but also this time, the Germans were able to find the answer and made the 2:3 just about a minute later.
Though Denmark started third half by scoring their fourth goal, Germany started to put much pressure on them now. In the 47th minute, Denmark wasted a penalty shot - the ball was in the net but was unallowedly played backwards. Still raising pressure, Denmark was able to score a short-hander with three minutes left on the clock, but Germany was honored for their great fight with the 3:5 power play goal in the last minute of play.
Again, this match showed great thrill and nice floorball, though it was definitely on a lower level than the first one. Germany was badly punished for some individual mistakes, but nevertheless showed a great fight.
